Windows 10 Not Recognizing SSD's When In External Drive Bays I have purchased several SSD drives that I am cloning to upgarde current systems.Originally this model doesn’t come with a harddrive at all. I’ve added sata to my Acer Aspire One A110 motherboard and put in a 2.5″ Intel X25-V 40GB SSD. If that works, delete the partition(s) on the SSD, then put it in the laptop and try the install again. You should be able to see / format the SSD.
